Irvine-based YouMail, which provides apps which protect phones against spam and cyberattacks, said today that it has partnered with Fotra’s PhishLabs, a provider of a tool for blocking voice phishing attacks. Financial details of the partnership were not announced, however, the two said the deal will improve YouMail’s detect and block malicious “vishing” (voice phishing) attacks and voice scams for mutual customers. YouMail is led by CEO Alex Quilici.
